About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan labor needs, lifting equipment, and heavy machinery required for operations
  • Assign tasks and direct a team of approximately twenty longshoremen and heavy machinery operators
  • Coordinate operations and proactively resolve difficulties
  • Monitor performance indicators using advanced technology
  • Ensure application of standard operating procedures, health and safety standards, and environmental norms

Requirements

  • Practical, action-oriented, and results-driven mindset
  • Interest in working with heavy equipment and machinery
  • Commitment to quality of work and customer service
  • Availability for on-call work with varied shifts (day, evening, night, weekend)
  • Proficiency in French and English (including written English)
