Port Controller

Responsibilities

• Support the loading and unloading of goods from sea vessels, lighters, wagons, trucks, and other terminal activities.
• Manage administrative processing related to terminal operations.
• Inspect the external condition and markings of goods to ensure accuracy.
• Record the quantity, weight, and dimensions of handled goods both manually and via scanning.
• Receive and verify goods at the terminal counter.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all controlling tasks.

Requirements

• Strong affinity with port operations and the maritime environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English.
• Ability to work in a shift system, including early, late, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Possession of a valid Driver's license (Category B).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A strong focus on safety and detail-oriented mindset.
