Pool Attendant

Responsibilities

• Ensure constant surveillance of pools and users
• Enforce hygiene, safety, and internal regulations
• Prevent accidents and intervene during incidents using first aid, CPR, and AED
• Welcome, inform, and supervise users, including managing conflict situations
• Lead and animate aquatic activities such as aqua gym
• Maintain facility functionality, including technical controls and equipment maintenance
• Ensure cleanliness of premises, including changing rooms
• Report anomalies and technical issues to management

Requirements

• ProPool level aquatic lifesaving certificate (minimum)
• Valid BLS AED first aid diploma from the Swiss Life Saving Society or equivalent
• Minimum three years of professional experience as a pool attendant or equivalent
• Technical knowledge regarding the operation and safety of aquatic facilities
• Perfect mastery of spoken and written French
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good physical condition and ability to work under stress

Preferred Qualifications

• CFC in a technical or manual trade
• Knowledge of a foreign language
• Additional training in aquatic activities
