Polymers Application Development Technologist - Advanced

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for customers using pultrusion, vacuum assisted (VA), high pressure (HP) resin transfer molding (RTM), and filament winding processes
• Support customers producing non-reinforced molded goods through open mold and reaction injection molding (RIM) processes
• Assist customers in optimizing and troubleshooting processes to run Proxxima™ resins and provide guidance on equipment upgrades
• Deliver technical insights from the market to guide new application developments and inform business strategy
• Author technical reports, publications, promotional brochures, and technical data sheets
• Train and mentor less experienced colleagues

Requirements

• 10 years of experience fabricating or supervising the manufacturing of thermoset composites
• Working understanding of thermoset chemistry (e.g., epoxy, polyurethane, vinyl ester, or polydicyclopentadiene)
• Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer use with excellent administrative and organizational skills
