Polymers Advanced MFG Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of process engineering improvement initiatives for Polyolefins, Butyl, and Elastomer processes.
• Develop robust tools for process modeling and optimization to meet various business needs.
• Enhance the efficiency and reliability of polyolefins and elastomer finishing processes.
• Support manufacturing asset improvement activities, including the development of design basis and leading manufacturing trials.
• Influence decision-making by introducing new ideas and enhancements to existing finishing processes.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Polyolefins, Butyl, or Elastomers process manufacturing.
• In-depth understanding of fundamental process engineering and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a multi-cultural global team.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to handle workloads efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with process modeling and simulation tools.
