Responsibilities
- Employ consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities for strategic commercial accounts.
- Own and coordinate account plans focusing on large deals, portfolio management, and organizational offerings.
- Map complex customer requirements to organizational capabilities and select suitable supply chain options.
- Build strong professional relationships with high-level clients to align solutions with their unique business needs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, territory account plans, and market penetration strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to provide strategic insights to senior management.
- Lead contract negotiations with major clients, overseeing terms and renewals to ensure profitable, long-term relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline by entering and updating opportunities in the designated pipeline tool.
- Conduct regular strategic business reviews with key clients to assess long-term goals and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years of professional work experience.
- Proven experience in account management or a product specialty such as computers, printers, servers, or storage.
- Expertise in consultative selling and contract negotiation.
- Strong skills in business development, customer relationship management, and sales management.
