Polisher

Responsibilities

• Operate polishing equipment to obtain desired polish and luster on stone parts and products
• Polish material and parts to correct defects or prepare surfaces using hand and power tools
• Apply pressure to polish, glaze, and buff while ensuring dimensions remain consistent
• Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, measuring dimensions, and comparing templates
• Maintain a clean workstation and ensure proper use of all equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Collaborate with coworkers and assist in other stations as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math knowledge (adding, subtracting, measurements, etc.)
• Basic maintenance knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience fabricating Marble, Granite, and Quartz
• Experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing fields
• Previous experience in material polishing
• Experience operating a forklift
