Policy & Quality Specialist - ML Perception Data

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous machine learning requirements from Perception Engineers into precise, actionable labeling policies
• Drive queue readiness by executing rapid policy iterations and hand-crafting golden datasets to establish quality baselines
• Provide technical guidance and operational direction to vendor labeling experts to ensure smooth queue operations
• Address edge cases and regional nuances to ensure country-specific driving rules are accurately captured
• Monitor labeling pipelines and conduct technical analyses to identify data quality trends and process improvements
• Act as the primary technical interface between engineering requesters and operations teams

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of experience in data analysis, operations, or program management focused on ML data annotation or human-in-the-loop workflows
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational workflows and vendor squads independently
• Practical knowledge of the ML data lifecycle, including dataset curation, labeling pipelines, and quality control metrics
• Experience conducting technical data analyses to diagnose pipeline issues and track vendor quality
• Ability to translate vague technical needs into clear documentation with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or SQL
• Experience collaborating with software engineering stakeholders to gather structured requirements
• Prior experience managing vendor-hosted operations across multiple geographic locations
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation of AI-generated model outputs
