Policy Manager

Responsibilities

• Track and analyse emerging energy, climate, and environmental policy developments
• Contribute to and lead quantitative and qualitative research, including public opinion work
• Develop thoughtful analysis, policy ideas, and recommendations written to a high standard
• Support the day-to-day delivery of projects, taking on increasing responsibility over time
• Work directly with colleagues and clients in a professional and organised manner
• Take an active interest in new business, industry events, and building a professional network

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a political, policy, research, consultancy, or closely related field
• Proven experience managing projects through to completion
• Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights
• Excellent writing and communication skills, capable of producing authoritative briefings
• Genuine passion for energy, climate, and environmental policy
• Confidence in communicating with clients and sector experts via email and phone

Benefits

• Salary range of £36,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid working model (core office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
