About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise on state and federal health insurance markets, including Medicaid managed care, Medicare Advantage, D-SNP plans, and state waivers.
  • Analyze policy changes to assess implications for growth strategy, care models, and product development.
  • Prepare product-market fit analyses, policy briefs, and regulatory summaries for new markets and strategic planning.
  • Maintain a structured opportunity pipeline for public-sector RFPs, RFIs, and state funding opportunities.
  • Conduct policy-informed market research on rural health, behavioral health, maternal health, and value-based care.
  • Serve as a project manager for rural health and public funding workstreams, coordinating timelines and deliverables.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to provide policy context and market intelligence for positioning and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to share insights that inform product roadmaps and solution design.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in healthcare policy, Medicaid/Medicare strategy, or public-sector healthcare consulting.
  • Professional experience with publicly funded insurance programs (Medicaid, Medicare, D-SNPs, or state waivers).
  • Proven experience in policy analysis, market research, and opportunity assessments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to track complex workstreams and deliverables.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into executive-ready insights.
  • Experience working in a remote, fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in healthcare policy, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Notion, or Asana.
