About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative policy analysis to inform decision-making on tenant protection initiatives
  • Develop policy recommendations and briefing materials for senior leadership
  • Monitor and evaluate existing programs and propose improvements based on data and research
  • Track relevant legislation, regulations, and national best practices in housing policy
  • Support cross-agency initiatives from concept through implementation
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with City agencies, external partners, and community stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between MOPT, City agencies, tenant advocates, and community-based organizations
  • Facilitate interagency working groups and stakeholder meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience in housing policy, government, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills including data analysis and policy research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and agencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in public policy, urban planning, law, or a related field
