Police Officer

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property and secure the well-being of the citizens of Concord
• Enforce ordinances, state and federal statutes, and other regulations
• Perform duties in patrol, investigations, drug enforcement, or youth services
• Engage in community-based policing operations to support a safe community

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 60 college credit hours in an associate or baccalaureate program, OR two years of full-time experience as a certified police officer, OR four years of active full-time military service with an honorable discharge

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
