About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide safety and welfare for the campus community through patrolling assigned areas
- Enforce laws, college policies, and regulations
- Investigate crimes and accidents
- Respond to emergencies and other calls for service
- Prepare detailed reports and provide safety education to students, faculty, and staff
Requirements
- Act 235 certification
- Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement experience
- Successful completion of a background check, including criminal history
- Successful completion of drug screening
- Successful completion of a psychological evaluation
Preferred Qualifications
- Act 120 certification
- Degree in Criminal Justice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
