About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in all elements of planning, creation, editing, production, promotion, and maintenance of campus materials such as Polaris
- Fulfill all specific duties of the Polaris Poetry Editor
- Assist with the publication, design, editing, and layout of the Polaris webpage
- Support day-to-day Polaris operations and attend all scheduled meetings
- Assist with department administration as needed
- Follow all department policies, procedures, and supervisor schedules
Requirements
- Must be an enrolled student at Ohio Northern University
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must register for the Magazine Publishing Practicum
- Must have been a member of Polaris for at least one semester prior to taking the position
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Professionalism in all interactions
