Polaris Junior Editor in Chief

Responsibilities

• Assist in all elements of planning, creation, editing, production, promotion, and maintenance of Polaris campus materials
• Support the Senior Editor in Chief with day-to-day Polaris maintenance and publication design
• Attend all scheduled Polaris meetings and fulfill all duties of the Junior Editor in Chief
• Assist with department administration as needed and follow all established policies and procedures
• Come to work as scheduled by the supervisor

Requirements

• Must be an enrolled student at Ohio Northern University
• Must be in good academic standing
• Must have been a member of Polaris for at least one semester prior to starting the position
• Must enroll in the Magazine Publishing Practicum
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Professionalism in all interactions
