Podiatrist

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of patients within a community podiatry setting
• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a range of podiatric conditions
• Deliver care for patients with diabetic foot complications and associated lower limb conditions
• Carry out treatments requiring local anaesthesia where appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical records using SystemOne
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Certificate in local anaesthesia
• Post-registration experience in diabetic care, ideally within NHS and community settings
• Knowledge of lower limb complications associated with diabetes
• Working knowledge of SystemOne
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for community visits
