About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems engineering for environmental control (ECS), bleed air, anti-icing, cabin pressurization, fire detection, and oxygen systems
  • Lead system integration and coordinate interfaces between internal engineering disciplines and external suppliers
  • Develop pneumatic system architectures, technical specifications, and functional modeling
  • Direct verification and validation (V&V) activities to ensure requirement traceability
  • Manage technical and contractual aspects of partner equipment manufacturers
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables, test procedures, and certification dossiers
  • Document ground and flight test results to demonstrate compliance with certification requirements
  • Support test rigs, flight prototypes, and production troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 to 15 years of experience in aeronautical systems engineering
  • Strong mastery of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
  • Deep knowledge of pneumatic systems and their interfaces with avionics and propulsion
  • Practical knowledge of environmental qualification standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810) and ARP4754A practices
  • Professional fluency in English (written and oral)
  • Ability to travel for short durations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in functional modeling and system performance testing
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or simulation tools
