Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, develop, and support the Portfolio Management System using Golang
• Take ownership of the design, development, and testing of new features from concept to deployment
• Work with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn technical vision into a roadmap
• Monitor and support production system components to ensure stability and low latency performance
• Leverage AI tools to assist in writing and reviewing code
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence

Requirements

• Financial Services experience (Buy or Sell-Side)
• Commercial experience with Golang or strongly typed languages like Java, C++, or C#
• Proficiency in building REST, WebSockets, and/or FIX-based APIs
• Experience with messaging systems like NATS or Kafka
• Experience deploying software on cloud native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, K8s)
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Database development experience using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• Bachelor's degree or relevant technical work experience
