PMO Consultant - Energy

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage PMO processes and systems to support major energy infrastructure programmes
• Support planning, scheduling, and the analysis of financial, commercial, risk, and performance data
• Prepare detailed financial and performance reports for senior management and boards
• Manage stakeholder relationships across the PMO and wider client organisations
• Coordinate governance, assurance activities, and benefits management throughout the project lifecycle
• Support internal leadership initiatives including resource planning, financial management, and business development

Requirements

• Proven experience in a consultancy environment supporting major capital programmes
• Professional accreditation such as APM, MSP Practitioner, or PRINCE2 (or working towards it)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to interpret and articulate complex data analysis clearly
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Sharp attention to detail and strong presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the UK energy, water, or transport sectors
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment
