About the role

Responsibilities

  • Architect, model, and define sub-system specifications for advanced power management solutions, including DC-DC converters and LDOs
  • Lead end-to-end design of power management circuits, focusing on high-current power stages and advanced packaging-aware design
  • Develop system and behavioral models using MATLAB/Simulink and Verilog-A/AMS to validate architecture and loop stability
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior design engineers and drive innovation strategy for long-term roadmaps
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for Tier-1 customers to drive technical alignment and discussions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with layout, product, test, and packaging teams to ensure successful product execution

Requirements

  • MS in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of experience, or a PhD with 10+ years of experience in PMIC development
  • Proven expertise in power conversion topologies such as Buck, boost, buck-boost, charge pumps, and LDOs
  • Strong understanding of control techniques including current-mode, voltage-mode, and hysteretic control
  • Deep experience in high-current power stage design and parasitic-aware design
  • Proficiency with Cadence IC design tools (Virtuoso, Spectre) and modeling environments (MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering products from concept to high-volume manufacturing
