About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the plywood product line
- Identify and target new markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships within the plywood industry
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to meet or exceed targets
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management
- Collaborate with production and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in plywood or wood products
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and observation skills
- Project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
