Plywood Production - Green End Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure the production line operates safely in accordance with work safe rules, regulations, and policies
• Lead, train, and develop shift crew members in safe and productive work habits
• Meet or exceed product quality and shift production goals
• Oversee day-to-day team activities and performance management
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure safe and complete repairs
• Monitor machinery settings and product schedules to maintain optimum production
• Complete accurate shift production, safety, and environmental reports

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of production experience as a team leader
• Knowledge of plywood manufacturing processes and equipment
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and computer skills
• Availability for shift rotations including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in industrial mill environments, including heights and confined spaces
