Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct design of ductwork, piping and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems
• Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings from schematic design to construction administration
• Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air handling units
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specifications and contract documents
• Interface with clients and project team members, including attending OAC meetings
• Respond to RFIs and review change orders
• Conduct job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress
• Coordinate work activities on specific projects and participate in business development

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 6+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree from an ABET accredited program
• Current CPD, PE, or FPE license in the United States
• LEED accreditation
