Plumbing Engineer/Designer II

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in plumbing design for commercial, institutional, and large infrastructure projects
• Establish design standards, criteria, and prepare calculations, reports, and specifications
• Perform fire suppression system selection and prepare preliminary designs and performance specifications
• Produce drawings consistent with client requirements and standards using Revit
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and the QA/QC process for completed work
• Consult on existing facility diligence, sustainability analyses, and feasibility reports
• Mentor and train junior staff and participate in business development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or significant equivalent experience)
• 18 months to 5 years of relevant experience in the Plumbing Design field
• Proficiency with the latest version of Revit
• FE certification required
• Working knowledge of fire suppression systems (NFPA 99)
• Experience with Commercial, Institutional, or Large Infrastructure projects (Aviation and Healthcare experience is a plus)
