About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on plumbing systems and building fabric
- Install new plant and equipment, diagnose faults, and perform necessary repairs
- Complete all required documentation, job packs, and reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Work safely in accordance with work instructions, safe working practices, and method statements
- Maintain plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas to a high standard of cleanliness
Requirements
- Strong background in mechanical maintenance with specific plumbing expertise
- Experience in both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Proficiency in fabric maintenance and basic electrical maintenance skills
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent (preferred)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service
