About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist Journeyperson Plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems
  • Perform brazing and soldering on copper pipes
  • Work with PVC piping and various other materials
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete assignments
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper clean-up procedures
  • Adhere to all company safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations
  • Set priorities on work assignments to meet established deadlines

Requirements

  • Registered Plumbing Apprentice in Alberta
  • Currently enrolled in a recognized trade school
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to braze and solder copper pipe
  • Experience working with PVC pipe
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work the Monday to Thursday nightshift (6:15 PM - 5:45 AM)
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the Nisku facility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with routine electrical maintenance operations
