About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyperson Plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems
- Perform brazing and soldering on copper pipes
- Work with PVC piping and various other materials
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete assignments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper clean-up procedures
- Adhere to all company safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Set priorities on work assignments to meet established deadlines
Requirements
- Registered Plumbing Apprentice in Alberta
- Currently enrolled in a recognized trade school
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to braze and solder copper pipe
- Experience working with PVC pipe
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work the Monday to Thursday nightshift (6:15 PM - 5:45 AM)
- Reliable transportation to commute to the Nisku facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with routine electrical maintenance operations
