Plumbing and Heating Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical repairs and installations of heating and plumbing systems
• Conduct related maintenance activities
• Respond to 24-hour rotating pager duty
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, including potential weekends and overtime

Requirements

• Journeyman’s Plumber License required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of vocational or trades training
• Valid state of Maine Class C driver’s license
• 4-7 years of experience in heating and plumbing systems maintenance, repair, and installation

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's plumber license
• Licensed Gas/Oil technician
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
• 7 or more years of relevant experience
