Plumber/Gas Fitter

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing for water distribution and wastewater disposal
• Plan and lay out plumbing components for construction, repair, and assembly of modular structures
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and vacuum equipment
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Ensure all work meets company and contract standards

Requirements

• Registered Journeyman or Apprentice
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
• 2 years of plumbing experience in construction settings
• Practical knowledge of plumbing techniques and methods
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 45 lbs
• Ability to draw sketches to communicate technical details
