Plumber (Water and Fuels Systems)

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, and repair plumbing, water, wastewater, fire suppression, and backflow prevention systems.
• Install, service, and repair water heaters, urinals, toilets, and shower units.
• Assemble and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures using various tools, including soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Study building plans, blueprints, and plumbing codes to determine work details and establish installation sequences.
• Locate and mark pipe installations, connections, and passage holes using measuring instruments.
• Perform underground installation of storm, sanitary, and water piping systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and records while following all safety rules and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support U.S. deployed forces and mission partners at Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Active U.S. SECRET Security Clearance.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Valid U.S. Passport book with at least 13 months of validity and 6 blank visa pages.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Compliance with CENTCOM MOD-15 theater requirements.
• 4 years of experience delivering DOD Base Operating Support-Installation (BOS-I) or similar work in an overseas or contingency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• USAF AFSC 3E4X1 Water and Fuels Systems Maintenance experience.
• Completion of USAF AFSC 3E4X1 or equivalent DOD training.
