Plumber/Pipefitter Master

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and repair piping systems for steam, hot water, chilled water, gas, air, and drain lines
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, weld, and assemble pipes according to technical specifications
• Layout and fabricate piping assemblies based on blueprints, isometric drawings, and schematics
• Install valves, fittings, and control devices while securing pipes to structures using brackets and hangers
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal codes, including safety procedures like lockout/tagout and proper PPE use
• Operate precision tools and machinery such as pipe threaders, welders, saws, grinders, and lifts
• Document work performed, including materials used and system testing results
• Assist with system start-up, commissioning, and emergency repairs as needed

Requirements

• Three years of experience or training in pipefitting, steam fitting, or plumbing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical drawings
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass a physical evaluation and drug screening
