Plumber

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing, heating, and electromechanical systems on campus
• Performs maintenance and repair of various facilities based on daily work orders
• Troubleshoots electromechanical systems on campus building equipment
• Repairs and maintains laundry equipment
• Assists with installation and repair of boilers, refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning systems
• Maintains fire protection equipment
• Performs associated Facilities Services work including snow removal and event set-up

Requirements

• Licensed Master Plumber
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of plumbing trade experience (10 years preferred)
• Ability to obtain Propane and Natural Gas certifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must furnish own hand tools
• Ability to work emergency maintenance calls on evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of refrigeration, gas, and electrical systems
