Plumber

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain and/or replace plumbing systems including water closets, sinks, drinking fountains, and fire suppression systems
• Open and clean various types of stoppages including clogged sewers, steam lines, and floor drains
• Plan and layout work from blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
• Inspect, repair, and perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations
• Perform other plumber related duties as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 5 years of plumbing experience within a government facility
• Licensed plumber with experience in commercial plumbing systems
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and plumbing code
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
• Ability to pass a government background check
