Plumber B

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of water, waste, and natural gas distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and analyze plumbing problems, including clearing lines, changing bathroom fixtures, and installing new piping in copper, black pipe, or PVC.
• Maintain swimming pool and fountain operations, including adjusting valves and chemical balancing.
• Assist senior plumbers with complex tasks such as backflow prevention and gas meter connections.
• Prepare work orders and purchase order requests, and maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
• Use a variety of hand, power, and specialized plumbing tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Plumbing trade certificate(s) of training.
• Four years of experience in the plumbing trades.
• Extensive experience servicing interior and exterior drains (clay, plastic, and cast iron) and freezing pipe (3/8"-3").
• Ability to read blueprints and demonstrate skill in sizing, estimating, brazing, and soldering copper pipe.
• Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
