PLT Plant 1 Curing Setup Tech

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform mold changes for Passenger Truck Tire Curing Presses
• Manage removal and installation of all bladders and maintain SFI data input
• Clean and drill venting in molds and perform minor mechanical adjustments or emergency repairs
• Conduct quality checks including first tire checks, first bag checks, and various audits (squeeze, cure cycle, and temperature)
• Follow all plant, environmental, and departmental safety policies
• Operate a forklift to support production needs
• Communicate effectively with setup technicians, supervision, and operators to ensure production quality and quantity

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years of mechanical experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to operate a Forklift (must be certified through the Safety Department)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Associate's Degree
