PLM Developer

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, build, and test software solutions within the flexPLM platform and surrounding integrations
• Configure and customize FlexPLM modules, workflows, states, rules, and security models
• Build and maintain server-side and client-side plugins and UI customizations
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot as part of the everyday development workflow
• Lead code reviews, establish PR guidelines, and drive code quality standards
• Provide technical advice and mentorship to junior engineers
• Act as a technical liaison between engineering, product management, and IT to align PLM solutions with business processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java-based enterprise systems
• Deep hands-on experience with Windchill/FlexPLM configuration, customization, and workflow development
• Proficiency with REST APIs, Git, and SQL
• Proven experience using AI coding assistants to generate, explain, and debug code
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex features with minimal guidance
• Strong ownership mindset and outstanding communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Enovia and data migration
• Front-end integration experience using modern JS frameworks (Vue preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical workstreams
• Understanding of bicycle components and mechanics
