PLM and CAD Engineer – Aeronautical Design and Development

Responsibilities

• Develop workflows for CAD data management (NX) within Teamcenter PLM systems
• Integrate CAD tools such as NX and CATIA V5 into Teamcenter environments and resolve associated technical issues
• Lead mentoring sessions and develop technical documentation for users
• Review CAD models to ensure accuracy and compliance with established engineering standards
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and IT teams, as well as Siemens partners
• Analyze and recommend improvements to engineering processes to meet internal client needs
• Participate in workshops to gather requirements and define functional user stories

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience working with Siemens NX
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically NX and CATIA V5
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and PMI (Product Manufacturing Information)
• Practical experience with Teamcenter PLM systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and mentor users
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of aeronautical development and industry standards is a significant asset
