About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end trial experience and self-serve funnel to drive conversion and revenue through product-led growth strategies.
- Define trial success milestones, instrument the funnel, and report on conversion performance weekly.
- Map the full trial journey from signup to the "aha moment," identifying and fixing points of friction.
- Design and execute lifecycle communications, including onboarding email sequences, in-app nudges, and behavioral re-engagement flows.
- Conduct Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) across onboarding flows and signup pages using structured hypotheses and statistical methodology.
- Partner with Product and Design teams to surface user insights and build technically credible trial-stage collateral.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth, or PLG within a B2B SaaS company.
- Proven track record of direct ownership over trial or self-serve conversion programs with measurable outcomes.
- Hands-on data background with the ability to work alongside Data or Analytics Engineers.
- Proficiency in behavioral analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or PostHog.
- Strong experimentation discipline with experience designing and running A/B tests using proper statistical methodology.
- Experience in lifecycle marketing execution, specifically building triggered email or in-app messaging sequences.
- Ability to produce clear technical writing, such as migration guides and conversion hypotheses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with PLG tools like Appcues, Pendo, Customer.io, or Braze.
- Experience with interactive demo tools such as Arcade, Navattic, or Storylane.
- Experience in competitive displacement motions at the trial stage.
- Basic comfort with HTML/CSS for making quick copy or CTA edits.
