PLC Programmer/Automation Technician

Responsibilities

• Independently perform programming, modifications, extensions, and optimizations of complex automation systems
• Manage data archiving and maintenance work for automation plants
• Prepare and execute projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with legal regulations
• Actively participate in the technical development and continuous improvement of production facilities
• Perform independent troubleshooting and error correction on automation systems
• Contribute to ensuring the IT security of automation systems

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Technician (Energy Technology and Process Automation), Master Craftsman, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in automation or a related field preferred
• Fluent German language skills (written and spoken)
• Experience with Siemens S7 family controllers
• Knowledge of ProLeit Plant iT process control systems
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of explosion protection (Explosionsschutz)
