PLC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design including schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel electrics using AutoCAD, SEE Electric, or EPLAN Electric
• Develop concept designs and layouts for electrical equipment, including capacity and consumption calculations (400V, 24V)
• Execute PLC and HMI programming specifically using Siemens platforms (Step7, TIA Portal, WINCC)
• Implement and manage communication protocols such as Profibus, ProfiNet, DeviceNet, EtherNet, Modbus, and OPC servers
• Interface with industrial robots including FANUC, ABB, and KUKA
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of automation equipment
• Manage suppliers on-site to ensure project requirements are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in automation or electrical design
• Proven expertise in Siemens PLC Programming (recent experience is mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of electrical CAD design and schematic creation
• Proficiency with industrial communication protocols and robot interfacing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the automotive vehicle shop sector
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and latest automation trends
• Experience with layout proposals and design material estimations
