PLC Programmer Automation

Responsibilities

• Develop, adapt, and optimize PLC programs (e.g., Siemens S7, TIA-Portal)
• Manage commissioning, testing, and error analysis for automation systems
• Support the introduction of new production plants and technologies
• Create technical documentation and instructional manuals
• Ensure plant availability through continuous optimization
• Collaborate with internal departments as well as external partners and suppliers
• Provide training and instruction to production employees on automated systems

Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
• Multi-year professional experience in PLC programming, preferably in an industrial environment
• Proficient knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA-Portal; experience with ABB systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of drive technology (Siemens Sinamics, SEW), sensor technology, and safety technology (Siemens and Pilz)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good English language skills
• Analytical mindset, team spirit, and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
