PLC Programmer Automation

Responsibilities

• Develop, adapt, and optimize PLC programs using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Perform commissioning, testing, and error analysis on automation systems
• Support the introduction of new production systems and technologies
• Create technical documentation and operational instructions
• Ensure system availability through continuous optimization and maintenance
• Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers
• Provide training and instruction to production employees on automated systems

Requirements

• Degree or completed training in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in PLC programming, preferably in an industrial environment
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Knowledge of Siemens Sinamics drive technology, SEW, Siemens, and Pilz sensor and safety technology
• Proficiency in English and confident use of MS Office
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ABB systems
