Plating Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate reel-to-reel or barrel plating machines to coat metal products with gold, nickel, matte tin, or other metals
• Immerse workpieces in liquid metal for specified durations to protect or enhance product surfaces
• Read and interpret assembly drawings to manufacture parts according to specifications
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and production quantity while following safety protocols
• Work the 3rd shift schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 5:45pm - 5:45am

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to read assembly drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in an environment involving noise and chemical exposure (protective gear required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working around or with chemicals
• Some technical education
