Platform SW Engineer, Automotive

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software for next-generation automotive solutions, including infotainment and ADAS.
• Lead the development, debugging, and customer interaction for various platform software drivers and modules.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions.
• Analyze software product requirements and use cases to ensure seamless integration with specific hardware blocks or sub-systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C programming.
• Experience with hardware debugging using JTAG.
• Strong understanding of Operating System (OS) fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with automotive software development processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO26262, and ISO21434).
• Knowledge of hardware-software interactions for CPUs, accelerators, and standard hardware blocks.
• Experience in software design for SoC layers, including boot, drivers, embedded firmware, security, safety, and kernels (Linux, QNX, SafeRTOS).
• Software development experience for ARM-based embedded systems.
