Platform Support Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of common infrastructure including containers, networks, authentication, and monitoring
• Drive standardization and automation of operational workflows using AI
• Build scalable operational models by evolving manual tasks into reproducible automated processes
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and best practices to internal engineering teams
• Collaborate with application and platform development teams to improve reliability and Developer Experience (DX)
• Work with global teams (US, India) to establish "Follow the Sun" operational models

Requirements

• Experience in designing, building, or operating services in public cloud environments
• Experience in troubleshooting across systems, infrastructure, networks, and applications
• Experience driving automation and efficiency using AI or scripting
• Business-level Japanese communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with global teams in English (written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Observability platforms, monitoring solutions, or APM tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Software development experience in Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems
• Knowledge of cloud networking, DNS, traffic management, or IAM
• Experience standardizing and transferring processes to BPO or shared service teams
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
