Platform Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own Partly's security posture and implement technical controls
• Participate in the on-call rotation alongside the SRE team
• Own security incident response planning, testing, and post-incident reviews
• Prepare for and pass security audits such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
• Maintain continuous compliance through Vanta
• Harden infrastructure using least privilege, Kubernetes RBAC, and network segmentation
• Manage vulnerability scanning pipelines using Trivy, Renovate, and Falco
• Coordinate remediation with service owners

Requirements

• 5+ years in security engineering, platform engineering, or SRE
• Hands-on Kubernetes security experience (RBAC, network policies, admission controllers)
• Experience with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI-DSS
• Strong cloud security expertise, preferably with GCP
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ArgoCD, GitOps)
• Strong communication skills to translate technical risk to business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNCF security tooling (Cilium, Kyverno, Falco)
• Knowledge of container and supply chain security (SBOM, image signing)
• Experience with Rust or Go
