Platform Screen Doors Project Engineer Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact point between the customer, project stakeholders, and PSD suppliers.
• Lead the design, interface, integration, and implementation of Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems across all project phases.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) for design, FAT, installation, and commissioning.
• Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and method statements.
• Manage PSD/Civil interfaces and coordinate integration tests between suppliers and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with international railway standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, BS/EN17168, IEC) and local regulations.
• Oversee installation activities and lead FAT, SAT, and integrated testing activities.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to PSD implementation and system integration.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Design Management.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in railway transportation system/sub-system engineering.
• Direct experience working with Platform Screen Doors (PSD).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading PSD implementation in large-scale rail projects.
• Basic knowledge of BIM, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Experience writing technical notes and developing solutions for complex interfaces.
