About the role
Responsibilities
- Design a showcase display prototype enclosure for an advanced intelligent storage platform
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate production designs into demo-ready prototypes
- Create and modify mechanical designs using SolidWorks
- Support prototype fabrication activities including drilling, routing, cutting, polishing, and assembly
- Perform mechanical calculations related to fit, articulation, tolerances, and load-bearing structures
- Participate in design reviews and prototype validation activities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience using SolidWorks, CAD, or similar 3D modeling tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a lab, prototype, or fabrication environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with program management
