Platform Ops Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 availability of Enterprise Platform Services by addressing and fixing L2 and L3 production alerts
• Initiate incident response processes for cloud service interruptions and conduct trend analysis to mitigate potential incidents
• Support cloud deployments, updates, maintenance, and security vulnerability remediation
• Design infrastructure with redundancy to meet SLO and SLA requirements
• Manage platform lifecycles, including technical refreshes, capacity upgrades, and software updates
• Develop metrics to monitor the health and usage of cloud platform resources
• Utilize FinOps reports to analyze cloud cost and usage and implement accurate tagging strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
• Approximately 3 years of experience working with Azure or GCP
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Ansible, Terraform, Artifactory, GitHub, PowerShell, Python, or GitHub CoPilot
• Experience using automation tools or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to administer public cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with troubleshooting network issues and cloud network services such as load balancers
• Working knowledge of Linux or Windows Operating Systems
• Experience working in environments utilizing SDLC, Agile, and ITIL methodologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical reports and workflows to leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure or GCP Public Cloud Certifications
• Experience with Power BI and data querying/arrangement
• Experience with Excel Pivot tables and advanced spreadsheets
