Platform Manager - Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce platform end to end, including health, security, reliability, and lifecycle management
• Lead a dedicated platform squad focused on platform health, reusable components, and enablement
• Build and maintain reusable components, shared services, and global configurations
• Set platform guardrails, including standards, patterns, access, and security controls
• Manage Salesforce mandatory release cycles and global configuration
• Manage stakeholder relationships and third-party vendors
• Act as an escalation point for high priority incidents

Requirements

• 7–10 years in platform, systems, or technology management roles
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce (ideally Service and/or Sales Cloud)
• Experience owning and prioritising platform backlogs
• Experience defining platform governance, standards, and configuration patterns
• Experience overseeing platform reliability, performance, security, and release governance
• Experience with hybrid delivery models (onshore and offshore)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
